Department of Economics (Postgraduate & Research Centre) of our College, is organizing an International Conference on "Emergence of India as Global Economic Superpower: Fiction or Future?" on Wednesday, 27th April, 2011 at Hotel Aurora Tower, Pune.

This conference focuses on the changing role and dominance of India in the global economy. The conference will also highlight the possibilities of Indian economy as global economic superpower in near future. It aims to provide a platform for discussion and exchange of views of academicians, research scholars and industry professionals on the subject.

We invite your active contribution in the event through research papers on the theme and related issues. The abstract shall be reviewed by the committee of expert’s. Selected abstracts shall be invited to submit full length paper. Registration of individual author is mandatory while submitting full length paper.

Abstract Submission: latest by 10th  April, 2011
Full Length Paper: latest by 18th April, 2011

Research Students                                           Rs. 650 per participant

B. SAARC
Academicians / Industry Delegates                  $ 80 per participant
Research Students                                           $ 40 per participant

C. Other Countries
Academicians / Industry Delegates                  $ 150 per participant
Research Students                                           $ 80 per participant

Accommodation Assistance shall be provided to outstation delegates on the basis of prior information.

Selected papers shall be presented at the conference and shall be published in the form of conference proceedings bearing ISBN.
